BWF Game Showcase

 

This summer we were thrilled to be able to bring our flagship summer camp to a couple of rural sites in North Carolina. This was made possible thanks to the amazing Burroughs Wellcome Fund and incredible SparkNC staff. It’s outstanding programs like these that allow us to reach more and more kids each year and show them how fun game making can be.

In just 2 weeks we were able to:

🚀 Connect with 45 students across 2 schools districts in Elizabeth City and Lexington, NC

💻 Deliver game development mentorship from industry experts across North America

🏫 Train college students and young professionals to teach and inspire our campers

🎮 Create 7 fully playable game prototypes using Construct 3

Down in the Dungeon is about a mighty wizard named Luna who lived in a cottage in a far off land where she loved doing magic. One day there was a huge storm over the kingdom and a dragon took her wand! The dragon flew miles away with the wand and Luna was heartbroken. She was determined to get her wand so she packed her things and went on a quest to find her wand and fight the dragon to its death.
