(zynga - san francisco, ca)
Hello! I’m Ariel Nam-an aspiring video game developer. Currently, I’m attending California State University Long Beach majoring in Computer Science. I’m an active club member in Video Game Development Association (VGDA) and National Robotics League (NRL).
I joined VGDA working on projects with other amazing students passionate about art, programming, and designing video games. I spent the majority of my time learning to program, but I’m expanding my horizons to other aspects of game development like art. Recently, I joined the board as Marketing Officer learning soft skills as well as providing a platform for students to learn and grow.
During my spare time, I love drawing (traditionally and digitally) and gaming-especially with friends. A couple of my favorite games include Overwatch and Kirby Super Star Ultra.
Aszliah Delicana
(zynga - san francisco, ca)
I was born in Iloilo City in the Philippines, where I lived for 7 years with my first PlayStation 2 and a Crash Bandicoot level that I never quite finished. I moved to the US with my family and now study at Temple University, where I’m majoring in computer science and minoring in German and digital media technologies. I spend much of my free time writing, drawing, and experimenting with different ways to tell stories through games. I adore horror games and the horror genre as a whole, but my favorite game of all time has to be Animal Crossing: Wild World, because there's nothing like the satisfaction of paying off your mortgage after years and years of fishing, catching bugs, and digging for fossils. My dream is to one day create a game with a story that can inspire even just one person to start creating and telling stories too, the way the games of my childhood inspired me to be where I am today...and finally being able to beat that Crash Bandicoot level would be a nice bonus, too.
